The Waitangi Day special was dedicated to Manaia Toa who after six years on BASE FM is moving to Wellington to take up Fine Arts at Massey University. His show has followed ours at 6 pm for most of those years. We've been inspired by him and shared many of the same musical predilections. He educated us with many tunes. We will miss you, DJ artiste. Scalper was our guest today. We played and discussed tracks from his new album Flesh and Bones.
